Color glitter paper to match Tim Holtz Distress Inks

Experimenting and thinking out of the box is so much fun!  Something was "cooked" up this evening.  First things first, if you want to try this technique, I recommend doing in a well ventilated space, and only use Doodle Bug Designs Sugar Coating Glitter paper (Recollections glitter card stock is not recommended).

Supplies:

  • Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Glaze
  • Doodle Bug Designs Sugar Coating Glitter paper
  • Tweezers
  • Coffee filter, copier paper, or tray to collect embossing powder
  • Heat tool
  • Heat resistant working surface
  • Dies cuts (optional)
  • Versamark Watermark Ink Stamp Pad
Apply Versamark ink to the glittered side of the cardstock.
Coat generously with dry embossing powder, put embossing powder back in the container and cover to avoid the powder blowing everywhere. 😁
Using tweezers, hold the card stock and apply heat with heat tool to melt the embossing powder.
Let cool and cut

Super duper easy.

Let me know if you try this and what you think.  I am digging it.  Best of all, it coordinates with the Distress Inks.  Don't forget to sign up for our email newsletter by visiting www.craftsonthemove.com
